Ferdinand is a Corporate Finance Advisor and Lecturer in Finance. He has provided advice on pricing & valuation, mergers & acquisitions, capital raising, due diligence and project finance to a wide range of clients while working as a manager at KPMG and lately as an Associate at Centerprise Africa. He has worked on a number of engagements including Safaricom Economic Modelling, MTN Valuation, KCB Rights Issue Lead Transaction Advisory work, British-American Group due diligence, Britam acquisition of Real Insurance, valuation of Chase Bank, Bank of Africa valuation, Mwalimu National SACCO restructuring, Home Africa Capital Restructuring among several other assignments.

Ferdinand is an accredited Financial Modeler and an accredited trainer with over nine years Financial Modelling and training experience. He facilitates both in-house tailor-made company trainings and centrally organized thematic trainings in the East African region. He has been instrumental in ensuring sound Financial Reporting and capacity building in the region through such trainings and acting as a technical evaluator in the annual Financial Reporting (FiRe) Awards, Banking Awards, Insurance Awards and Investment Awards. He was recently appointed as one of the trainers and resource persons for the Capital Markets Authority (CMA).

Ferdinand holds a Masters in Banking and Finance specializing in Financial Markets and a First class Bachelor’s degree in Finance. He is an active member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) and passed the level II exam of the CFA program in 2011. Currently he is pursuing a PhD in Finance from the Graduate School of Business, University of Cape Town.
